Job Description

Trade In Motion is seeking a motivated Junior / Intermediate Exploration Geologist to join a premier mining and exploration team in the heart of Nevada's prolific gold trends. This role is a fantastic opportunity for early-career geologists to gain hands-on, high-tier field experience in world-class deposit systems. You will manage drill rigs, log core, and oversee target logistics within a highly collaborative team environment.

  1. This position is open to candidates who already hold valid authorization to work in the United States, as well as to Mexican or Canadian citizens interested in relocating to Nevada under the TN Visa pathway. Full visa application support and sponsorship will be provided to qualified international professionals.

      1. Key Responsibilities

    • Drilling Oversight: Supervise and/or assist senior teams in executing reverse circulation (RC) and diamond core drilling programs.

    • Core & RC Logging: Accurately log reverse circulation drill holes, construct detailed digital geological logs, utilize proprietary database software, and meticulously prepare samples for laboratory assay submission.

    • Target Project Management: Drive project logistics on selected targets, including drill site management, safe sample processing, operational reporting, and ancillary field activities.

    • Safety & Environment: Demonstrate a rigorous commitment to corporate health, safety, community relations, and environmental protection protocols.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Education: Must hold a B.Sc. degree or higher in Geology or Earth Sciences (an M.Sc. is highly preferred and strongly supports the TN Visa professional classification).

    • Experience: 0 to 3 years of hands-on experience in mineral exploration. Direct experience working with Carlin-Type gold systems is a major asset.

    • Technical Skills: Familiarity or knowledge of geological database management systems is highly beneficial.

    • Key Traits: Strong work ethic, positive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and top-tier organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    • Mandatory Safety Tickets: MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) Certification & Training is required prior to starting or stepping onto the mine site.

    Schedule, Location & Travel

    • Location: Based out of Eureka, Nevada (a legendary mining district on the Battle Mountain-Eureka trend).

    • Schedule: A highly attractive 10 days on / 6 days off field rotation.

    • Shift Work Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM during active hitch days.

    What We Offer

    • Full application support and legal guidance for TN Visa processing (for Canadian and Mexican citizens).

    • Exposure to advanced exploration methodologies alongside industry-leading technical experts.

    • Competitive compensation package and stable shift rotation.
