A high-volume dairy is only as successful as its reproductive program. Trade in Motion is seeking two Associate Veterinarians / Herd Health Specialists with a strong background in breeding and reproductive management to join a premier operation in Illinois, USA.

The Opportunity
  • Technical Focus: Leading high-impact breeding programs and managing comprehensive herd health.
  • Support: Full TN Visa eligibility and processing for degree-qualified professionals from Mexico.
  • Stability: Full-time, hourly role with weekly pay and overtime eligibility.
  • Relocation: Initial relocation costs and housing are provided by the client.

  • Role Description

    As a Herd Health and Breeding Specialist, you will be the backbone of the dairy’s reproductive success. You will be responsible for overseeing health programs, implementing precise breeding protocols, and collaborating with agricultural teams to improve livestock productivity and well-being.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Implement and manage advanced synchronization protocols and artificial insemination.
    • Monitor animal health, diagnosing and treating diseases across the herd.
    • Develop and maintain strict biosecurity measures and animal welfare standards.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations on breeding practices to optimize genetic performance.
    • Perform regular pregnancy diagnostics and health screenings.

    Requirements & Qualifications
    • Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree (Animal Science with relevant clinical experience).
    • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in large animal veterinary practice (Entry to Intermediate).
    • Breeding Expertise: Proven knowledge of reproductive cycles and hands-on artificial insemination experience.
    • Language: Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency (ability to communicate effectively in a U.S. professional environment).
    • Personal Attributes: Proactive approach, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adapt to on-field challenges.
